Wire transfers are a convenient way to electronically transfer funds to other financial institutions. Domestic wires are generally received the same day if requested before 2:30 p.m. CST. International wires usually take 2 - 3 days (could take longer, depending on the destination.)
You can also send money from your account to a Western Union Office in the event the recipient does not have access to a financial institution account.
Most companies and government agencies today allow you to Direct Deposit
account items such as your paycheck, a retirement check, or even a
government check, into your credit union account. You'll no longer
have to worry about having your check lost or stolen in the mail and
you can enjoy immediate credit on that deposit. Remember you can easily
check to see if your deposit was received by using Online
Home Banking or calling "Shelly," our 24-hour telephone
account access.
Check to see if your employer offers direct deposit. If not, ask them to provide it as a convenience for their employees.
Many employers offer payroll deduction as well as direct deposit of your net pay. Payroll deduction is an amount you specify to your employer to deduct from your gross pay and electronically transfer the deducted amount to your credit union account. Payroll deductions sent to the credit union will then be automatically applied to the savings, checking or loans of your choice.
Travelers Express Money Orders are available to credit union members in any amount up to $1,000. Members in our Mature Advantage Program can get money orders free of charge and members in our Member Select Program receive a discount.
American Express Travelers Checks are available to our members in a variety of denominations at a cost of $1.00 per $100 in checks. They are generally accepted just like cash, but are much safer to carry than cash when you travel. Traveler's Checks are available at no cost for our members in the Mature Advantage Program or Member Select Program.
American Express Gift Checks are a great way to give cash as a gift and are sold individually in denominations of $25, $50, or $100.
When you establish your checking account with the credit union and you need a few checks immediately before your check order arrives in the mail, we can supply you with eight personalized temporary checks absolutely free. And, if you run out of your
regular checks before your re-order arrives, you can purchase these temporary or counter checks at a nominal fee.
Official and Certified Checks are guaranteed funds to the payee because the funds are actually withdrawn from the member's account at the time the check is prepared.
Series EE and Series I U.S. Savings Bonds must be requested at the credit union and issued directly by the U. S. Department of the Treasury and are usually received within 15 business days from date of request. Series EE Bonds are available in denominations of $50, $75, $100, $200, $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000 and purchased at a discount. Series I Bonds are purchased at face value. The credit union can redeem your Series E, EE, and I U.S. Savings Bonds. All bonds presented for redemption must be eligible for payment based on the table below, and must be signed in the presence of a credit union representative. There may be other requirements prior to redemption. And, you can now determine your savings bond's redemption value using the Bureau of Government Debt's savings bond value tables.

We sell U.S. Postage Stamps at face value in several styles, as well as in rolls or packs.
We take the worry out of having exact change for public transit by selling monthly passes for RTA or Westbank or Tokens at face value. These are available at our main office in One Shell Square.
You can make deposits and loan payments 24 hours a day at our convenient night depository box located in our main One Shell Square location on the Plaza Level. Deposits made after 2:00 p.m. CST on any normal business day will be posted the next business day.
Let us help you protect your important records and valuables with a credit union Safe Deposit Box. Safe Deposit Boxes must be opened in person at the credit union office. And, members in our Mature Advantage Program or Member Select Program receive a 25% discount on the annual fee.
